At Sensory Made Simple, we believe every child deserves a space where they feel safe, understood, and supportedāespecially when big feelings or busy environments start to feel overwhelming. Thatās why weāre so excited to introduce you to one of our new brand charactersā¦
š Meet Theo!
Theo is a gentle, thoughtful tiger who lovesĀ quiet corners, calming tools, and cozy routines. Youāll usually find him in a soft hoodie, holding his glitter jar, or gently squishing some lavender-scented dough in his paws.
Heās not a loud roarer like some tigersāheās a steady friend who reminds kids that itās okay to pause, breathe, and reset. While others are off exploring, Theo is the anchor, helping everyone feel centered and calm.

š Theoās Story
When Theo was younger, loud places, sudden changes, and too many lights made him feel overwhelmed. His tail would twitch, his shoulders would tighten, and heād wish he could disappear. But over time, Theo discovered something powerful:
Sensory tools can help his body and brain feel safe.
Now, Theo keeps a calm-down kit with him wherever he goes. It includes:
A glitter jar to watch when feelings swirl
A weighted plush for hugs and grounding
A breathing card to help him take deep belly breaths
His favorite hoodie (because sometimes the right clothes make all the difference)
š§ What Theo Teaches
Theo helps kids recognize when they need a breakāand gives them permission to take one.
He models:
Emotional regulation
Listening to your body
Creating routines that support sensory needs
Being a kind, calming friend
⨠How Theo Fits Into Your Day

When things feel a little too much, Theoās there to say:
āYouāre safe. Youāre strong. Youāve got this.ā
