At Sensory Made Simple, we know sensory play isnāt justĀ about funāitās about helping kids connect with their world through hands-on discovery. Thatās why weāre so excited to introduce you to one of our new brand charactersā¦
š Meet Poppy!
Poppy is a bright, curious bunny who loves to explore every texture, color, and sound she can find. Her whiskers twitch with excitement when she squishes dough, runs her paws through rainbow rice, or digs for treasures in a sensory bin.
Poppy is a sensory seekerāshe thrives on movement, textures, and trying new things. But she also understands that sometimes new experiences can feel a little uncertain, so she always explores at her own pace (and encourages her friends to do the same).

š Poppyās Story
When Poppy was little, she discovered the magic of sensory play while digging in her garden. She noticed how the soil felt cool in the morning, how water splashed on her paws, and how flower petals were soft and delicate. That day, she decided she wanted to explore everythingĀ with her senses.
Now, Poppy travels with her very own sensory adventure kit, which includes:
A small scoop for rice, beans, and sand
A magnifying glass for tiny treasures
Playdough in all the colors of the rainbow
A pair of soft gloves for days when textures feel ātoo muchā
š§ What Poppy Teaches
Poppy helps kids discover the joy in exploring and experimentingāwithout pressure. She encourages:
CuriosityĀ (āWhat happens if I mix these two textures?ā)
ConfidenceĀ in trying new sensory experiences
Problem-solvingĀ through play
Celebrating differencesĀ in how we explore the world
